Cooperwind India is seeking skilled Laser and Bending Machine Operators cum Programmers with hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience. You will operate laser cutting and CNC bending machines, interpret engineering drawings, and optimize process parameters to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Candidates should be adept at reading CAD files, setting up machines, and performing routine maintenance while following safety and 5S practices.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience in laser cutting and bending machine operation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret CAD files for sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and program laser cutting machines and CNC/NC bending machines.
• Set up machines, select tooling, and optimize cutting speed, laser power, gas pressure, and bend angles.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and perform first-piece inspection to meet quality targets.
• Monitor production targets and coordinate with Production/Quality teams to meet schedules.

Job Description

We are looking for skilled and experienced Laser & Bending Machine Operators cum Programmers with hands‑on experience in sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, and bending machine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program laser cutting machines, including SIL and Protech Laser Smart models.
• Operate and program CNC / NC bending machines and press brake machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Prepare and execute laser cutting and bending programs as per production requirements.
• Set machine parameters, cutting speed, laser power, gas pressure, bend angles, and tooling.
• Perform machine setup, tool selection, and program adjustments.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and conduct first-piece inspection.
• Monitor production targets, product quality, and delivery schedules.
• Troubleshoot basic machine, cutting, and bending-related issues.
• Minimize material wastage and maintain product quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and follow safety procedures and 5S practices.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve daily production targets.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience in laser cutting and/or bending machine operation and programming.
• Knowledge of SIL and Protech Laser Smart machines is preferred.
• Experience in CNC / NC press brake bending operations is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
