Job summary

Laptop Store in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Laptop Service Engineer to diagnose and repair laptop hardware at the component and motherboard level.

You will perform chip-level and card-level repairs, troubleshoot power, display, USB, audio, keyboard, and battery circuits, and read laptop schematics and BoardView.

The role requires BIOS programming, component replacement by soldering, and thorough testing with records kept to ensure turnaround times are met.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing laptop motherboard faults at component level.
• Hands-on repair in chip- and card-level areas.
• Ability to read laptop schematics and BoardView.
• Proficient in BIOS programming and power/charging circuit troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with repairing LCDs, keyboards, and battery connectors.
• Capacity to maintain repair records and turnaround times.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair laptop hardware and motherboard issues.
• Perform chip-level and card-level laptop repairs.
• Troubleshoot motherboard power, charging, display, USB, audio, keyboard issues.
• Identify faulty components on laptop motherboards.
• Perform component-level replacement and soldering.

• Test laptops thoroughly after repair.
• Maintain repair records and service status.
• Ensure repairs meet turnaround times.

We are looking for an experienced Laptop Service Engineer / Laptop Hardware Technician with hands‑on experience in laptop hardware repair, motherboard troubleshooting, chip‑level repair, and card‑level repair.

The candidate should be able to diagnose and repair laptop hardware faults at the component and motherboard level.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair laptop hardware and motherboard issues.
• Perform chip‑level and card‑level laptop repairs.
• Troubleshoot motherboard power, charging, display, USB, audio, keyboard, and other circuit‑related issues.
• Identify faulty electronic components on laptop motherboards.
• Perform component‑level replacement and soldering.
• Handle motherboard IC, MOSFET, capacitor, resistor, diode and other component‑related faults.
• Perform BIOS programming and BIOS‑related troubleshooting.
• Use multimeter, DC power supply, soldering station and hot‑air rework station for diagnosis and repair.
• Read and understand laptop schematics and BoardView.
• Diagnose short circuits and power‑section problems.
• Repair charging circuits, power circuits and other motherboard sections.
• Handle LCD, keyboard, battery, charging port, RAM, SSD/HDD, cooling fan and other hardware replacements.
• Test laptops thoroughly after repair.
• Maintain proper repair records and update service status.
• Ensure repairs are completed within the required turnaround time.
