Job summary

Databuzz seeks a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to develop creative landscape concepts for residential, villa, gated community and commercial projects in Hyderabad. You will prepare master plans, layouts, planting plans and detailed drawings, and create mood boards and material palettes for client presentations.

Responsibilities include designing outdoor spaces, 2D/3D visuals, plant selection, and coordination with architects, engineers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture or relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of landscape design experience in residential/commercial projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D rendering tools.

Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer

Experience: 23 Years (Minimum 2 Years Required)

Qualification: Degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture or relevant field

Preferred: Immediate joiners with construction industry experience

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop creative landscape design concepts for residential apartments, villas, gated communities and commercial projects.
• Prepare landscape master plans, layouts, planting plans and detailed working drawings.
• Create mood boards, concept boards, material palettes and landscape design presentations.
• Design outdoor spaces, gardens, pathways, seating areas, water features, courtyards and recreational zones.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualisations and landscape design presentations.
• Select suitable plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers and landscaping materials based on site conditions and climate.
• Research innovative landscaping trends, sustainable design solutions and outdoor design concepts.
• Assist in hardscape and softscape detailing, lighting layouts and irrigation planning.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, nurseries and landscape vendors.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, design development and execution monitoring.
• Assist in preparing landscape BOQs, material specifications and quantity estimates.
• Source and shortlist plants, outdoor furniture, lighting, planters and decorative landscape elements.
• Ensure landscape designs align with project aesthetics, functionality and budget requirements.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Lumion, Enscape, Revit or other 3D rendering software is an advantage.
• Ability to create professional mood boards, landscape concepts and client presentations.
• Good understanding of hardscape and softscape design.
• Basic knowledge of plant species, planting techniques and landscape materials.
• Understanding of landscape working drawings and execution detailing.
• Strong creativity, spatial planning and visual presentation skills.
• Good communication, coordination and attention to detail.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant landscape design experience.
• Experience in residential, villa, gated community or commercial landscape projects preferred.
• Ability to develop landscape concepts and design presentations with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to visit sites and coordinate with execution teams.
• Portfolio showcasing landscape layouts, mood boards, 3D visualisations and completed projects is required.
