Job summary

Terrain Greens in India is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to lead site analysis, zoning, master plans and concept designs for large-scale projects. You will plan hardscape and softscape, prepare technical drawings, BOQs, 3D renders, and support client meetings with cross-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of landscape design experience, a professional degree in landscape architecture, and registrations such as CoA/ISOLA preferred.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in landscape design and execution
• Projects completed from concept to handover
• ACAD/SketchUp/Photoshop/Lumion/Enscape or V-Ray proficiency
• Knowledge of planting, irrigation, soil and NBC accessibility norms
• Experience with airports, campuses, hospitality, townships or government projects
• Good communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare site analysis, zoning, master plans and concept designs
• Plan hardscape (paving, plazas, water features, pergolas, site furniture) and softscape (trees, shrubs, lawns, vertical gardens)
• Prepare grading, levels and drainage plans, and select plant species suited to site, climate, soil and maintenance needs
• Prepare concept, GFC and shop drawings, construction details, planting, irrigation and lighting layouts, and as-built drawings
• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, specifications and material schedules, and maintain drawing registers
• Prepare 3D models, renders, walkthroughs, and client and tender presentations
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with civil, MEP, architecture and PMC teams
• Conduct site visits to check execution, and support tender preparation and technical submissions

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare site analysis, zoning, master plans and concept designs


• Plan hardscape (paving, plazas, water features, pergolas, site furniture) and softscape (trees, shrubs, lawns, vertical gardens)


• Prepare grading, levels and drainage plans, and select plant species suited to site, climate, soil and maintenance needs


• Prepare concept, GFC and shop drawings, construction details, planting, irrigation and lighting layouts, and as-built drawings


• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, specifications and material schedules, and maintain drawing registers


• Prepare 3D models, renders, walkthroughs, and client and tender presentations


• Attend client meetings and coordinate with civil, MEP, architecture and PMC teams


• Conduct site visits to check execution, and support tender preparation and technical submissions

B.Arch with M.Arch/MLA, MLA after a relevant bachelors, B.Arch with a landscape specialisation or diploma, B.Des/B.Tech in Landscape, or B.Sc/M.Sc Horticulture with proven landscape design experience. CoA registration or ISOLA membership preferred.

Requirements

• 7-10 years in landscape design and execution, with at least 2 projects completed from concept to handover


• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Lumion, Enscape or V-Ray; MS Excel, PowerPoint or Canva


• Sound knowledge of hardscape materials, construction details, plant species, irrigation, soil, grading, drainage and NBC accessibility norms


• Experience in airports, corporate campuses, hospitality, townships or government projects preferred


• Good communication and presentation skills
