Job summary

Sadbhav Futuretech is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor for its Ground Mount Solar division in Chhattisgarh. The candidate will conduct land and topographical surveys, establish site benchmarks, and support engineering and execution teams on ground mount solar projects.

Expect strong hands-on experience with Total Station, DGPS/GNSS, AutoCAD and surveying equipment, along with knowledge of land measurement and site development activities. Work location is project sites in Chhattisgarh.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or related field.
• Certification/Diploma in Land Surveying preferred.
• 5–15 years of relevant experience in Ground Mount Solar Projects and related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed topographical and land surveys for Ground Mount Solar projects.
• Carry out boundary, contour, level, alignment and elevation surveys.
• Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points and control points at project sites.
• Verify land boundaries and coordinate with project teams for site demarcation.
• Conduct pre-construction surveys and provide accurate site data to engineering teams.
• Perform setting-out for piling, MMS structures, roads, drainage, foundations and other project infrastructure.
• Monitor site levels, coordinates and elevations as per approved drawings.

Role Overview

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land and topographical surveys, establishing site benchmarks, preparing survey data, and supporting the engineering and execution teams in the development of Ground Mount Solar projects.

The candidate should have strong hands‑on experience with Total Station, DGPS/GNSS, AutoCAD and surveying equipment, along with good knowledge of land measurement and site development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Land & Site Survey

• Conduct detailed topographical and land surveys for Ground Mount Solar projects.
• Carry out boundary, contour, level, alignment and elevation surveys.
• Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points and control points at project sites.
• Verify land boundaries and coordinate with the project/land team for site demarcation.
• Conduct pre‑construction surveys and provide accurate site data to engineering teams.
• Perform setting‑out activities for piling, MMS structures, roads, drainage, foundations and other project infrastructure.
• Monitor site levels, coordinates and elevations as per approved drawings.

Survey Equipment & Technology

• Operate Total Station, DGPS/GNSS, Auto Level and other modern surveying equipment.
• Collect, record and process survey data accurately.
• Transfer survey data between field equipment and CAD/software systems.
• Prepare survey drawings, layouts and coordinate reports using AutoCAD and relevant survey software.
• Maintain proper records of survey coordinates, measurements and site data.

Project Execution Support

• Coordinate with Engineering, Civil, Project, Construction and Land teams.
• Provide accurate survey information for site planning and project execution.
• Support civil teams during excavation, piling, foundation and structural installation activities.
• Check actual site conditions against approved drawings and layouts.
• Identify discrepancies in levels, coordinates and alignments and report them to the Project/Engineering team.
• Conduct as‑built surveys and prepare final survey documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily survey reports and field records.
• Prepare survey data, drawings, coordinates and measurement sheets.
• Maintain accurate records of benchmarks and control points.
• Support preparation of as‑built drawings and project completion documentation.
• Ensure all survey records are properly maintained and updated.
