Qualifications

• MSW / MBA HR / MA Labour Welfare / BSW or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall labour welfare activities for factory employees and workers.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Handle grievances and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain healthy IR between employees, workers, and management.
• Coordinate with Labour Department during inspections and statutory matters.
• Maintain labour-related statutory records and documentation.
• Monitor ESI, PF and other welfare-related requirements.
• Coordinate contract labour welfare and compliance.
• Organize welfare programs, engagement activities, and counselling.
• Ensure implementation of company policies related to welfare and discipline.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Labour Welfare Officer to manage employee welfare, labour relations, statutory compliance, worker engagement, and welfare activities at our manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of relevant experience in Labour Welfare / Industrial Relations / Employee Relations, with strong exposure to factory/manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall labour welfare activities for factory employees and workers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Handle employee and worker grievances and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain healthy Industrial Relations (IR) between employees, workers, and management.
• Coordinate with Labour Department and other government authorities during inspections and statutory matters.
• Handle and maintain labour-related statutory records, registers, and documentation.
• Monitor ESI, PF and other employee welfare-related statutory requirements.
• Manage and coordinate contract labour-related welfare and compliance activities.
• Conduct worker counselling, awareness programs, and employee engagement activities.
• Coordinate welfare facilities such as canteen, transportation, drinking water, sanitation, rest areas, and other worker facilities.
• Support management in handling disciplinary matters, domestic enquiries, and employee relations issues.
• Coordinate with worker representatives and handle labour-related concerns professionally.
• Support labour audits, customer audits, social compliance audits, and statutory inspections.
• Organize employee welfare programs, celebrations, awareness sessions, and engagement activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies related to employee welfare and workplace discipline.
• Prepare regular reports related to labour welfare, grievances, absenteeism, and employee engagement.
• Work closely with HR, Admin, EHS, Security, and Factory Management teams.
