Job summary

Re Sustainability Limited in Hyderabad seeks a seasoned Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the PAN India network. You will direct daily lab activities, manage workflows, and allocate resources to ensure timely, accurate waste analysis and environmental monitoring services.

The role requires 10+ years of supervisory experience, strong budgeting and regulatory knowledge, and proficiency with LIMS systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant science discipline such as chemistry, laboratory instrumentation, or Lab Administration.
• 10+ years of supervisory or admin experience for PAN India lab network focused on waste analysis and environmental testing.
• Strong financial, regulatory, and problem-solving skills; proficient with LIMS software.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily lab activities, workflows, and resource distribution.
• Build annual budgets, monitor expenses, and procurement of reagents and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety and quality standards (ISO 17025, MoEFCC, CPCB).
• Lead recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and mentorship of teams.
• Manage Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and validate new instrumentation.

• Financial & Budgeting: Build annual budgets, monitor expenses, and manage procurement of reagents and equipment.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025 standards, recognition from the MoEFCC or the CPCB).
• Staff Leadership: Handle recruitment, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and mentorship of technical and support teams.
• Systems & Technology: Manage Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and validate new technical instrumentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline like chemistry, laboratory instrumentation, or Lab Administration.
• Experience: 10+ years of supervisory or administrative experience for a PAN India commercial laboratory network focused on waste analysis/characterization and environmental monitoring & testing services.
