Job summary

Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Lab Engineer to drive lab systems engineering, develop solutions to improve quality, compliance, and throughput, and manage monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for lab equipment.

You will design test plans for new features, enable automated scripting for testing and archiving results, perform data analysis, resolve bugs affecting product quality, and coordinate procurement of equipment and lab materials to meet program deliverables.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI with 2-3 years of lab-related experience.

Lab Engineer Job Details

Job Description: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. Drives lab systems engineering including the development of solutions to improve lab quality, compliance, and throughput. Drives monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for lab equipment including maintenance, service, calibration, rework, and testing activities. Creates and develops test plans for new features on each product and recommends improvements to enable automated scripting for testing and archiving of results. Drives lab execution including engineering analysis, instrumentation, data analysis, and result reporting. Resolves reported bugs and root causes issues that could impact product quality and experience. Develops plans and cost estimates based on requirements and assesses projects to analyze risks and rewards, drive procurement of equipment and other lab materials, and development of lab infrastructure. Ensures lab preparedness including bench set-up, procurement of test equipment and other lab materials, and infrastructure requirements. Collaborates with functional teams such as IT, security, and facilities to maintain a successful lab. Develops and coordinates the design, development, and implementation of new ideas, process, and systems for lab improvements needed to meet program deliverables.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
