Job summary

Landis+Gyr EMEA is expanding its electronic testing capabilities in Dadri, India, by establishing a brand-new lab from the ground up. The role focuses on lab development, process setup, and enabling reliable component qualification and performance testing.

You will perform hands-on testing, operate equipment and environmental chambers, collect and analyze data, and ensure calibration, ESD and safety standards are met. Collaboration with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in establishing a new electronic testing lab and setting up processes.
• Hands-on lab testing, data collection, and reporting experience.
• Ability to maintain calibration and safety standards.

• Familiarity with PCBA components and reliability testing.

Job Summary

Purpose and Objective

• The Electronic Testing Laboratory Technician will initially support in the establishing a completely new electronic testing lab from the ground up, followed by the subsequent, operation, and continuous development of the laboratory.
• During the initial phase, the role will focus heavily on lab development, and process setup. Once operational, the role is responsible for supporting the operation of the laboratory through the execution of component qualification, reliability, and performance testing activities. The role performs hands‑on laboratory testing, operates test equipment and environmental chambers, supports test fixture setup, collects and analyzes test data, and ensures laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.

Core Areas of Responsibility/Accountability

Laboratory Testing & Execution:

Perform qualification, validation, reliability, and performance testing of electronic components and assemblies; set up and operate equipment; record results and support failure analysis.

Equipment & Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain equipment, support calibration, uphold ESD and safety standards, and manage consumables.

Data Collection & Reporting: Compile results and support analysis and reporting.

Cross-Functional Support: Support Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Component Management teams.

Continuous Improvement: Support process and testing method improvements.
