Job summary

STEMZ Healthcare in Lucknow is seeking a Laboratory support professional to assist in collecting specimens, performing routine non-technical tests, and ensuring timely lab results under the supervision of the laboratory director.

The role involves pre-analytical procedures, instrument maintenance, and adherence to SOPs with emphasis on accuracy and compliance. A diploma in medical technology and MOH license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Technology (Laboratories) from an accredited institute.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience.
• Any certificate in medical labs from a certified institute.
• Professional practicing license from MOH/health regulatory authority in the country.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens from patients per protocol and prepare results within SOP timelines.
• Perform pre-analytical procedures and daily maintenance of lab machines.
• Perform daily calibration and QC to ensure instrument readiness.
• Conduct lab tests and confirm results with accuracy and validity.
• Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the lab director.

As a part of the Laboratory Services team, he/she would be responsible for supporting laboratory operations, performing maintenance functions and completing non-technical routine laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of the laboratory director/head of lab services at the visa medical center.

Job functions include collecting various specimen from patients to perform the requested lab tests and prepare lab results as per the agreed timelines and SOP.

Role and Responsibilities

• Make sure that the patient met all requirements before specimen collection.
• Make sure that results are valid and accurate
• Follow up outsourced specimens if required.
• Check lab stock to ensure that there are enough supplies
• Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the lab director.

Essential Functions
