STEMZ Healthcare in Delhi seeks a Lab Technician to support laboratory operations at the visa medical center. You will perform routine non-technical tests, collect specimens, maintain equipment, and ensure timely reporting under supervision.

Responsibilities include sample analysis, instrument maintenance, data recording, storage and temperature monitoring, and strict adherence to SOPs. A graduate with MOH license is preferred and prior lab experience is required.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Lab Technician/technologist.
• Sound knowledge of XXXXXX is a must.
• Graduation/ Post Graduation in related field of study is a must.
• Profession practice permission issued from MOH/healthcare authority in the country is a must.

Responsabilidades

• Perform sample analysis of all applicant samples in the lab accurately and on time.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance as per schedule.
• Maintain raw data records for all manual tests using defined templates.
• Transcribe results accurately and review all test results before reporting.
• Ensure proper storage of reagents and consumables, with temperature monitoring.
• Maintain lab temperature records (RT, Ref, Freezer) within acceptable limits.
• Follow protocols for sample transfer and processing.
• Inform relevant parties if there is a delay in reporting.

Title: Lab Technician

Location: Delhi

Permanent Role

As a part of the Laboratory Services team, he/she would be responsible for supporting laboratory operations, performing maintenance functions, and completing non-technical routine laboratory tests and procedures under the direction of the laboratory supervisor at the visa medical center. Job functions include collecting various specimens from the nursing room to perform the requested lab tests and prepare lab results as per the agreed timelines and SOP.

Role and Responsibilities

• Performing sample analysis of all applicant samples received in the lab accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance as per schedule
• Perform sample analysis for all the tests as per monthly JD - accurately and maintain TAT
• Ensure meticulously raw data records for all manual tests as per defined recording templates
• Manual transcription of results in glossy to be done accurately and carefully /all test results to be reviewed carefully
• Lab inventory -ensure proper storage of lab reagents and consumables as per defined temp conditions; ensure temp monitoring of all storage areas; ensure proper storage in case of ref/freezer malfunctions also
• Maintain Lab temperature records (RT, Ref, Freezer) are within acceptable limits
• Comply with defined protocols for sample transfer and in scan of samples
• Comply with defined protocols for sample processing
• Inform the concerned in case of delay in report
• Keep records safely and present the records when required
• Assist supervisors for smooth functioning of the laboratory
• Any other work related to the laboratory, as instructed by the Supervisor/ Lab director
