Job summary

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process blood and other clinical samples.
• Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and on time.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Prepare samples and reagents required for testing.
• Maintain accurate test reports and laboratory records.
• Check the quality of test results and report issues to the supervisor.
• Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures.
• Dispose of laboratory waste according to hospital guidelines.
• Maintain availability of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
