Job summary

Dr. A.C. Aruldas Hospital in Chennai is seeking a laboratory technician to collect and process patient samples, perform routine tests, and maintain equipment. The candidate should have a DMLT or B.Sc.

MLT with 0.5–8 years of experience and may reside near Perambur or be willing to relocate. Walk-in interviews are scheduled weekdays from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the hospital venue. Please carry your updated CV and last 3 months payslips for the interview.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and process patient samples such as blood, urine, and other specimens.
• Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per standard procedures.
• Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal.
• Record and maintain accurate test results and laboratory documentation.
• Follow quality control, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding test reports and requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory.
