Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs in Bengaluru is seeking a Lab Technician to perform routine biochemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests, under the Microbiology and Biochemistry departments.

You will record results, prepare requisitions, ensure safety standards, and maintain QC parameters while working on a rotational shift during the walk-in interview on 10 Sep 2026.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in laboratory testing
• Good communication and computer skills
• Flexible to work on a rotational shift (no night shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to aid diagnosis.
• Record lab test results and assist in technical activities.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Prepare requisition forms and record specimens for reference laboratory.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain QC parameters.
• Specimen processing per SOPs with adherence to TAT/OTR and QC norms

Position: Lab Technician

Walk in Interview at Bangalore 10 Sep 2026 @ 10 am to 4 pm

Lab Address - Unit of Dr Lal path labs , 121/1 3rd Main Road, Margosa Rd, near 10th Cross Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560003

Scope of work:

• Perfor m routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments. Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary. Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area. Manage sample area distribution.
• Department- Microbiology, Bio Chemistry, Phlebotomist

Here is what you will do:

• Perform various biochemical, microscopic and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Records lab tests results and assist in technical activities.
• Carry out all the tasks assigned by the superior time to time.
• Prepare requisition forms and record of specimen to be sent to reference laboratory.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards while working
• Specimen processing as per defined SOPs in adherence to TAT / OTR (On time Report)
• Maintain all quality parameters as per QC Norms
