• Collect, receive, and properly label patient samples.
• Perform laboratory tests according to standard procedures.
• Handle blood, urine, and other clinical specimens safely.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
• Record and maintain laboratory reports and patient information.
• Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain proper storage of samples, reagents, and laboratory supplies.
• Follow infection control, biosafety, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Report equipment issues or abnormal test results to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when required.
