Job summary

Jobitus is seeking a Lab Incharge to lead daily laboratory operations in Bhilai. You will supervise staff, schedule testing, and ensure safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all activities.

The role requires a strong background in life sciences or related fields, hands-on lab experience, and proven leadership. You will coordinate equipment maintenance, data logging, and reporting to management while upholding QC/QA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Medical Technology, DMLT, or Electronics depending on the industry.
• 1 to 5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience, with prior supervisory or leadership background.
• Proficiency with lab instruments, diagnostic/testing software, data entry, and quality control (QC/QA).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and team-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Direct daily lab workflows, sample processing, and testing schedules to maintain high efficiency.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all tests follow SOPs, safety protocols (QHSE/GLP/ISO), and regulatory standards.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, schedule, and train laboratory personnel, technicians, or assistants.
• Equipment & Inventory: Oversee equipment calibration, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and stock/inventory control.
• Data & Reporting: Validate test results, maintain logbooks, and report findings to management or quality coordinators.

A Lab Incharge (also known as a Laboratory In-charge, Supervisor, or Manager) oversees daily laboratory operations, manages staff, and ensures testing or research runs safely and accurately

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Direct daily lab workflows, sample processing, and testing schedules to maintain high efficiency.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all tests follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols (QHSE/GLP/ISO), and regulatory standards.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, schedule, and train laboratory personnel, technicians, or assistants.
• Equipment & Inventory: Oversee equipment calibration, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and stock/inventory control.
• Data & Reporting: Validate test results, maintain accurate digital/physical logbooks, and report findings to management or quality coordinators.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (such as Life Sciences, Chemistry, Medical Technology, DMLT, or Electronics depending on the industry).
• Experience: Typically 1 to 5+ years of hands‑on laboratory experience, with prior supervisory or leadership background.
