Job summary

JU Agri Sciences Pvt. Ltd. in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, India invites applications for a Formulation Development role focused on agrochemical formulations (WDG, WP, SC, EC, EW, SE, CS, ZC, OD) and related screening activities. You will work across raw materials, surfactants, and regulatory-aligned documentation.

The candidate will conduct stability studies, maintain detailed trial records, and support scale-up to pilot and full-scale production while ensuring GLP and EHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of agrochemical formulation types and surfactant chemistry.
• Familiarity with FAO/CIPAC specs and Indian regulatory norms.
• Clear technical documentation and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Formulation Development: Develop and optimize agrochemical formulations (insecticides, fungicides, herbicides) including WDG, WP, SC, EC, EW, SE, CS, ZC, OD and other formulations.
• Raw Material & Surfactant Screening: Screen active ingredients, carriers, surfactants, solvents, dispersants, emulsifiers.
• Stability & Physicochemical Testing: Conduct stability studies, pH, emulsion stability, viscosity, and related tests.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain notebooks and trial reports per CIPAC, FAO, BIS, assist regulatory dossier prep.
• Pilot Scale-Up: Support scale-up from lab to pilot and full-scale manufacturing.
• Safety & Standards: Adhere to GLP and EHS protocols.

Role & responsibilities

• Formulation Development: Develop and optimize new agrochemical formulations (insecticides, fungicides, herbicides) including WDG, WP, SC, EC, EW, SE, CS, ZC, OD and other agrochemical formulations.
• Raw Material & Surfactant Screening: Screen and select active ingredients, inert carriers, surfactants, solvents, dispersants, and emulsifiers to maximize product performance.
• Stability & Physicochemical Testing: Conduct accelerated and real-time storage stability studies, pH analysis, emulsion stability, wet sieve tests, and viscosity measurements.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate lab notebooks and trial reports in line with CIPAC, FAO, and BIS guidelines, and assist in regulatory dossier preparation.
• Pilot Scale-Up: Support the transition of successful lab-scale formulations to pilot plants and full-scale commercial manufacturing.
• Safety & Standards: Adhere strictly to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols.

Preferred candidate profile
