Responsibilities
- Provide advanced application support: analyze, debug, and resolve issues at code level across the tech stack.
- Manage incident response and resolution within SLAs, including 24x7 on‑call rotation (nights/weekends).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for release management, change coordination, and environment readiness.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive root cause analysis across applications and data workflows.
- Ensure production environments are secure, stable, and aligned with business requirements.
- Participate in disaster recovery and environment setup activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong domain expertise in Investment Management/Capital Markets (must‑have, top priority).
- Experience working with peripheral systems integrated with Aladdin or similar IM platforms (Aladdin experience not mandatory).
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in L2.5/L3 production support.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts and exposure to API management for system‑to‑system data flows.
- Hands‑on experience with scripting (Python/PLSQL) and ReactJS.
- Exposure to one or more: Restful APIs, HTML, CSS, Java Microservices.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, Git/Bitbucket, and test automation.
- Experience with incident/problem lifecycle management and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/JIRA).
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; able to work independently and within teams.
Optional / Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows OS, batch monitoring tools (Autosys, Ctrl‑M), and databases (MS SQL, Snowflake).
- Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Practical exposure to web development, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of statistical theory, financial instruments, and markets.
