Job summary

Vidya Online Services Pune is seeking a desktop support technician to join our 24x7, multi-campus helpdesk. You may work in shifts across Campus-1 and Campus-2, handling L1 support on Windows, Linux and VMware.

Responsibilities include monitoring servers/storage/networking/security/backup and providing end-user support, asset records, and timely ticket logging with shift reports. Travel to ADA sites in India may be needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in CS/IT/ECE or related fields with entry-level or 1 year exp for Diploma track
• Freshers can apply under BE/B.Tech CS/IT/ECE track with willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• DC Monitoring: Monitor Servers, Storage, Network, Security, VC, AC, Electrical 24x7
• OS & Backup: L1 support on AIX, Windows, Linux, VMware
• Log collection & Backup/RestoreHardware: Identify hardware faults, break-fix & coordinate with OEM/CAMC vendors
• End User Support: Desktop/Laptop setup, OS install, MS Office, Teams, WebEx, Outlook, Printer support
• Network: Basic troubleshooting of Internet, Intranet, VLAN, connectivity issues
• Security & AMC: Ensure AV/Endpoint updates, OS patches.
• Maintain asset & AMC/Warranty records
• Reporting: Log all tickets, submit shift reports.
• Support quarterly PM activities Travel: Should be able to work at any ADA site in India on need basis
