Job summary

Siham International Trading Co. seeks a reliable Kitchen Steward to support our kitchen team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas.

The role is a seasonal 6-month opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with visa, flights and accommodation provided. You will ensure all equipment, utensils and work areas are clean and sanitised, operate dishwashing equipment safely, and assist chefs during service while following HACCP

Qualifications

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Experience with dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
• Seasonal 6-month opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with visa, flights and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep kitchen, washing-up and back-of-house areas clean and organised.
• Clean floors, walls, work surfaces, sinks and other kitchen areas as required.
• Assist chefs with maintaining a clean and organised kitchen during service.
• Ensure clean equipment and utensils are available to the kitchen team when required.
• Remove rubbish and waste according to company procedures.
• Separate and dispose of food and general waste correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of waste areas and bins.
• Follow cleaning schedules and daily hygiene checklists.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues or hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with receiving, moving and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Maintain a professional, clean and hygienic personal appearance.
