About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Wi-Fi Project Manager to support the end-to-end delivery of enterprise Wi-Fi network projects. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or IT infrastructure, looking to grow their career in wireless networking and project management. You’ll collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of Wi-Fi solutions, especially from vendors like Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, and Ruckus.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

• Assist in defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones
• Support the preparation of project schedules and progress trackers
• Coordinate site surveys, installations, reviews, and follow-up tasks
• Maintain consistent communication with vendors, engineers, and internal teams

Stakeholder Communication

• Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Liaise between field teams, vendors, and senior management
• Help manage stakeholder expectations and align project goals

Technical Collaboration

• Work closely with Wi-Fi engineers to understand RF plans and network design
• Assist in reviewing coverage plans, heatmaps, and deployment quality
• Participate in issue tracking and troubleshooting coordination

Documentation & Quality Assurance

• Maintain all project documentation including meeting notes, SOWs, and checklists
• Document lessons learned, feedback, and process improvements post-deployment
• Support the preparation of compliance and technical audit materials

Learning & Development

• Stay updated on Wi-Fi standards (802.11), RF optimization, and emerging technologies
• Pursue relevant certifications (e.g., CWNA, CWNP, vendor-specific trainings)

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications
• Certifications in CWNA, Cisco Wireless, or Aruba are a plus

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi, RF principles, and network troubleshooting
• Exposure to Wi-Fi hardware/vendors: Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, etc.
• Knowledge of project tools: MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps is beneficial

Project Skills

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and track tasks diligently
• Strong time management, documentation, and multitasking skills

Soft Skills
