UnifyCX is seeking a Senior Networking Engineer to join our team in Mangalore. The role emphasizes hands-on WiFi management with Ruckus, Cambium Networks, and MikroTik equipment, supported by strong networking fundamentals and CCNA-level experience.

You will troubleshoot, configure, and maintain our network infrastructure, collaborate with senior engineers, and contribute to security and documentation efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or related field.
• Proficiency level equivalent to or exceeding CCNA.
• Willingness to work fixed USA Day shift, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, deploying, and managing WiFi networks using Ruckus, Cambium Networks, and MikroTik equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
• Support senior network engineers in maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
• Participate in setup and configuration of network devices and implement security measures.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and procedural documentation.
• Provide end-user support and collaborate with the support team to resolve issues quickly.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Networking Engineer to join our team. This role demands a deep understanding of network infrastructure, along with hands‑on expertise in Wi‑Fi technologies, including Ruckus, Cambium Networks, and MikroTik equipment. The ideal candidate should possess a proficiency level equivalent to or exceeding CCNA, with proven experience in network troubleshooting, maintenance, and configuration.

• Work Location: Mangalore (WFO)
• Shift: Rotational Shifts

Required Qualifications

• Education: BE, BTech, MCA, MTech, BCA, BSc Computers, MSc computers and BCOM with computers
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of networking principles (OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Proficiency in WiFi networking concepts and best practices.
• Expertise in network troubleshooting tools and techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Hands‑on experience in network configuration and management.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation to optimize network tasks.

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Must Requirements

• Must be willing to work in a fixed USA Day shift, including weekends.
• Must be skilled in outbound customer calls and handling inbound calls from field techs and CS agents.
