Job summary

Egis is seeking a civil engineer to develop and detail dry utility designs for municipal and transportation infrastructure in Bengaluru. You will create alignments, sections, and trench designs, and produce 2D/3D drawings and volumetric analyses.

The role emphasizes QA/QC and collaboration across disciplines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in civil engineering and 2+ years' experience with Civil3D/AutoCAD, BIM processes, and ACC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in municipal and/or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to design dry utility systems.
• Experience with underground infrastructure design (water, sanitary, storm, drainage).
• Working knowledge of CAD platforms (Civil 3D & AutoCAD).
• Working knowledge of BIM processes, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Strong communication skills and experience in multi-disciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

About The Role

• Development of conceptual and detailed design of dry utility systems in accordance with standards.
• Develop designs including alignments, profiles, sections and trench design in coordination.
• Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles
• Prepare engineering drawings, 2D and 3D designs of utilities and volumetric analysis
• Contribute to quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Develop 3D design models for conflict analysis and resolution in Civil3D.
