Job summary

Egis in Bengaluru seeks a Civil Engineer to develop conceptual and detailed designs of dry utility systems for municipal and transportation infrastructure projects. You will create alignments, profiles, sections and trench designs in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 2+ years of experience; CAD skills (Civil3D, AutoCAD) and BIM with ACC are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in municipal and/or transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to design dry utility systems.
• Experience with underground infrastructure design (water, sanitary, storm, drainage) is an asset.
• Working knowledge of CAD platforms (Civil 3D & AutoCAD) is an asset.
• Working knowledge of BIM processes (ACC) is an asset.
• Strong communication and teamwork in multi-disciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs of dry utility systems.
• Create alignments, profiles, sections and trench designs in coordination.
• Apply subsurface utility engineering principles.
• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings of utilities and conduct volumetric analysis.
• Contribute to QA/QC processes.
• Develop 3D design models for conflict analysis in Civil3D.

• Development of conceptual and detailed design of dry utility systems in accordance with standards.
• Develop designs including alignments, profiles, sections and trench design in coordination.
• Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles.
• Prepare engineering drawings, 2D and 3D designs of utilities and volumetric analysis.
• Contribute to quality assurance/quality control processes.
• Develop 3D design models for conflict analysis and resolution in Civil3D.
