Job summary

Arkain Games in Bengaluru (on-site) is seeking a Junior Unity Developer to work with designers, artists and senior engineers to build and polish slot game experiences. This role is based at our Bangalore studio, where you’ll be part of a collaborative and creative development team.

You’ll bridge the gap between code and art — integrating assets, implementing features, optimizing performance, and ensuring that games feel visually and functionally seamless across mobile and WebGL builds.

Qualifications

• Experience building slot or social casino games, US market preferred.
• Understanding of reels, paylines, free spins, RTP/volatility concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spine, DOTween, or similar animation tools.
• Experience writing shaders beyond Shader Graph (HLSL/ShaderLab).
• Familiarity with Unity Profiler, Frame Debugger, and memory optimization for mobile/WebGL builds.
• Experience with Addressables, asset bundles, or texture atlasing workflows.
• Exposure to version control (Git, Plastic SCM) in a team environment.
• A basic eye for art and motion: knowing what makes a win celebration feel satisfying.
• Experience building editor tools or scripts to speed up team workflows.

As a Junior Unity Developer, you’ll work closely with our game designers, artists, and senior engineers to build and polish slot game experiences. You’ll bridge the gap between code and art — integrating assets, implementing features, optimizing performance, and ensuring that games feel visually and functionally seamless. This is an on-site role at our Bangalore studio, where you’ll be part of a collaborative and creative development team.

• Prior experience building slot, casino, or social casino games, especially for the US market.
• Understanding of slot game mechanics such as reels, paylines, free spins, bonus rounds, and RTP/volatility concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spine, DOTween, or similar animation and tweening tools.
• Experience writing custom shaders (HLSL/ShaderLab) beyond Shader Graph.
• Familiarity with Unity’s Profiler, Frame Debugger, and memory optimization for mobile and WebGL builds.
• Experience with Addressables, asset bundles, or texture atlasing workflows.
• Exposure to version control (Git, Plastic SCM) in a team environment.
• A basic eye for art and motion: knowing what makes a win celebration or big-win sequence feel satisfying.
