Job summary

Ovoid Service in Puducherry is seeking a Civil/Structural engineer to prepare beam layouts from architectural plans, perform modal analysis, and determine loads using STAAD or similar software. You will prepare and issue GFCs for CAD drawings and attend site/client meetings as needed.

Fresher or up to 2 years’ experience with IS code knowledge is acceptable; further salary discussions and benefits will be shared after meeting the candidate.

Qualifications

• Fresher or 2 years of civil structural design experience with IS code knowledge.
• Up-to-date IS codes knowledge and understanding of structural design standards.
• Proficiency in structural design software and CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary beam layouts from architectural floor plans.
• Produce modal analysis and determine loads on columns and beams using STAAD or other software.
• Prepare and issue GFCs of CAD drawings (foundations, staircases, slabs and beams, GA, steel fabrication).
• Attend site and client meetings as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Fresher or Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of structural design with a Degree / PG degree in Civil Engineering and Up-to-date knowledge of IS codes.
