Role Description The Junior Site Civil Engineer will support day-to-day site activities for civil engineering projects, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising contractors and labor, monitoring progress against schedules, and reporting site status to senior engineers and project managers. The role involves assisting with quantity checks, basic site measurements, and documentation, as well as helping to identify and resolve site issues in coordination with the project team. The Junior Site Civil Engineer will also contribute to maintaining safety practices and compliance with relevant regulations on-site. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Panvel.

Qualifications

• Foundational civil engineering knowledge, including structural basics, construction techniques, and familiarity with building materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, architectural plans, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with common civil engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar drafting tools, MS Office for reports and documentation).
• Strong site supervision skills, including coordination with contractors, monitoring work quality, and adherence to safety standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and site personnel.
• Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet project timelines.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience on construction or infrastructure sites is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Panvel and adapt to project schedules and field conditions.
