Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks a Junior Associate Quality to support inspection, testing, and data analysis of raw materials and finished goods. You will ensure traceability, prepare samples for testing and marketing, and report key quality metrics to the supervisor.

The role involves following ISO 9001:2015 standards, contributing to safety activities, labeling, and maintaining records. Immediate joining and stability in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BSc/MSc in Chemistry.
• 0-3 years of experience from stone wool, chemical, mechanical or automotive industries preferred.
• Computer literacy and ability to analyze inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and reporting of raw materials and finished goods as per frequency.
• Perform testing activities and reporting as per frequency.
• Evaluate incoming goods and finished products per Roxul-Rockwool control procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure product identification and traceability through proper labeling.

Responsibilities – Junior Associate Quality

• Carry out inspection and reporting of Raw material & finished goods as per frequency.
• Performing & reporting testing activities as per frequency.
• Evaluate incoming goods and finished products as per the Roxul-Rockwool control procedures and guidelines/specification.
• Ensure the product identification and traceability through the application of appropriate label on the finished goods.
• Preparation & deliver the samples as per external test plan & defined frequency.
• Preparation of samples for marketing.
• Reporting the quality key figures, presentation and analysis of the same to the superior.
• Issues retrievable records for each product manufactured for each customer requirements.
• Follow the ISO 9001 :2015 system requirements.
• Monitor product quality to prevent unacceptable products.
• Maintain record of issued labels per product.
• Participating in third party inspection activity as per superior guideline.
• Follow the corrective action taken on complaints.
• Perform other related duties as and when required by management.
• Participation in safety activity by reporting good catches.
• Maintain Housekeeping of defined area.
• Participate in investigation for accident/incident.
• Give Training as per plan.
• Participate and maintain 6’S in function.
• Participate in Mock Drill safety committee and JSA preparation.
• Reporting of accident incident

• Reporting of unsafe act and unsafe working condition.
• Participate in Safety meeting.

Skills

• 0-3 year (preferably from Stone wool Industry or any chemical industry background/ Mechanical / Automobile industry) Required Certifications and Experience
