ROCKWOOL Group in Tamil Nadu is seeking an Electrical Technician with a B license to join the team for testing, commissioning and operation of a 33 kV switchyard and switchgear equipment.

The role involves adhering to safety rules, installing electrical components, testing and troubleshooting PLCs/ VFDs, reading wiring diagrams, and maintaining receiving yards, transformers and breakers. 0–3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or ITI Electrical required.
• Languages: English, Tamil.
• 0 to 3 years’ working experience in electrical maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Installation of electrical components and wiring.
• Testing and troubleshooting of electrical components, PLC & VFD.
• Reading and interpretation of wiring diagrams.
• Operation and maintenance of receiving yard/substation and distribution transformers.
• Maintenance of breakers (SF6, VCB & ACB), lighting arrestors, isolators, CT, PTs.
• Maintenance of LT, HT panels and distribution networks (DBs, cables, busducts).
• Maintenance of DG and preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance.

Role Summary

Requirement of Electrical technician with B license to be involved in testing, commissioning & operation of 33 KV switchyard and switchgear equipment’s.

Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:

• Compliance of safety rules and regulations.
• Installation of electrical components and wiring.
• Testing and troubleshooting of electrical components, PLC & VFD.
• Reading & Interpretation wiring diagram.
• Operation and Maintenance of Receiving yard/Substation.
• Operation and Maintenance of distribution transformers.
• Operation &Maintenance of breakers- SF6, VCB & ACB.
• Operation & Maintenance of Lighting arrestors, isolators, CT, PT’s.
• Operation & Maintenance of LT, HT Panel.
• Operation & Maintenance of distribution networks- DB’s, cables, busducts.
• Operation & Maintenance of DG.
• Adherence to Preventive, corrective & Breakdown maintenance.
• Maintaining proper records of operation and maintenance.
• Experienced / Interested to work in testing/ commissioning of switch yard & switchgear.

Other Requirements

• Education : Diploma in Electrical/ ITI Electrical
• Languages : English, Tamil
• Other : 0 to 3 years’ Working experience in Electrical Maintenance.
