Job summary

Tata Projects is hiring for a site-based Junior Officer PR in Mumbai. The role involves creating and processing POs in SAP MM, tracking the PO lifecycle, and handling purchase returns in SAP, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate procurement records.

The candidate should have SAP MM experience, knowledge of PO/GRN/ Purchase Return processes, and strong Excel/reporting skills, with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP as per approved requisitions.
• Monitor and track the complete purchase order lifecycle, from creation to closure.
• Process Purchase Returns in SAP for damaged, excess, or non-conforming materials.
• Coordinate with vendors, stores, and internal departments regarding purchase and return transactions.
• Verify purchase-related documents, including invoices, goods receipt notes (GRNs), and return documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile purchase and return transactions to ensure inventory and financial accuracy.
• Generate and analyze procurement reports using SAP.
• Follow up with suppliers for pending deliveries, replacements, and return settlements.
• Ensure master data accuracy for vendors, materials, and procurement records in SAP.
• Support audits by providing procurement and inventory-related documentation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency.
