Job summary

A management consultancy firm is seeking a Junior LeanIX Consultant who will support senior consultants in implementing LeanIX solutions and mapping application landscapes. Candidates should possess a relevant bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or IT Asset Management. Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or IT Asset Management.
• Exposure to LeanIX or similar tools is preferable.
• Understanding of ERP landscapes and IT governance processes.
• Basic understanding of application lifecycles, business capabilities, and technology stacks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with ERP landscapes (SAP preferred) and IT governance processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in LeanIX setup and data onboarding for APM.
• Gather data on business capabilities, applications, and technologies.
• Document and maintain IT landscape inventory with data accuracy.
• Document and maintain IT landscape inventory and ensure data accuracy and governance.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Process Consultants, and ERP Teams to align LeanIX outputs with transformation initiatives.
• Help identify redundant, obsolete, or high-cost applications and support rationalization plans.
• Generate insights and reports from LeanIX to support decision-making.
• Participate in client workshops, assisting in data collection, reporting, and visual presentations.
• Stay informed on LeanIX best practices and industry frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, etc.).

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior LeanIX Consultant passionate about Enterprise Architecture (EA), Application Portfolio Management (APM), and IT Landscape Rationalization.

You will support our senior consultants and enterprise architects in implementing LeanIX solutions, mapping application landscapes, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making for clients undergoing transformation (especially S/4HANA, Cloud Migration, or IT Modernization programs).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in LeanIX setup, configuration, and data onboarding for Application Portfolio Management (APM), Technology Risk, or Business Capability Mapping.

• Work with stakeholders to gather data on business capabilities, applications, technologies, and integrations.

• Support in creating application landscape visualizations, heatmaps, and lifecycle roadmaps.

• Document and maintain IT landscape inventory and ensure data accuracy and governance.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Process Consultants, and ERP Teams to align LeanIX outputs with transformation initiatives.

• Help identify redundant, obsolete, or high‑cost applications and support rationalization plans.

• Generate insights and reports from LeanIX to support decision‑making.

• Participate in client workshops, assisting in data collection, reporting, and visual presentations.

• Stay informed on LeanIX best practices and industry frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Management.

• 3 - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, IT Asset Management, or Application Portfolio Analysis.

• Exposure to LeanIX (or similar tools such as MEGA, BiZZdesign, or ADOIT).

• Basic understanding of application lifecycles, business capabilities, and technology stacks.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

• Familiarity with ERP landscapes (SAP preferred) and IT governance processes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills (Nice‑to‑Have)

• 1 - 3 Years On‑hands experience on LeanIX tool.

• Hands‑on exposure to LeanIX APM or SMP modules.

• Familiarity with S/4HANA transformation or Cloud migration programs.

• Understanding of EA frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate).

• Data analysis and visualization (Excel, Power BI).

• Certification in LeanIX Foundation (advantageous).
