Job summary

A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior LeanIX Consultant to lead Enterprise Architecture and Application Portfolio Management engagements. The role involves driving LeanIX implementations and collaborating with stakeholders. Ideal candidates have 6-8 years of experience in relevant fields and strong analytical and communication skills. This position offers flexibility with remote and travel options in India or the Nordics.

Qualifications

• 6 – 8 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, or IT Strategy Consulting.
• Strong hands-on experience in LeanIX APM and/or SMP modules.
• Proven experience in EA modeling, capability mapping, and rationalization roadmaps.
• Proven experience in EA modeling, capability mapping, and rationalization roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of IT ecosystems, ERP landscapes, and Cloud architectures.
• Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills.
• Experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders and driving decision-making workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead LeanIX APM / SMP implementations for enterprise clients across industries.
• Conduct landscape discovery and rationalization workshops.
• Design application portfolio strategies enabling cost optimization.
• Develop EA roadmaps, heatmaps, and application lifecycle management plans using LeanIX.
• Establish governance frameworks for data accuracy, EA maturity, and portfolio optimization.
• Integrate LeanIX with S/4HANA transformation programs, Cloud migration, or Digital Core modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with CIOs, Enterprise Architects, and ERP Leads to align technology strategy with business goals.
• Lead cross-functional workshops and executive reporting, translating complex EA data into actionable insights.
• Guide and mentor junior consultants, ensuring quality and consistency in project delivery.
• Stay updated with LeanIX innovations, EA best practices, and industry frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate, ITIL).

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior LeanIX Consultant to lead Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Application Portfolio Management (APM) engagements. You will drive LeanIX implementations, define EA frameworks, and enable clients to rationalize applications, align business and IT, and accelerate S/4HANA or Cloud transformations.

This role is ideal for professionals who can blend technical expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement to deliver actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead LeanIX APM / SMP implementations for enterprise clients across industries.

• Design application portfolio strategies, enabling cost optimization, redundancy reduction, and tech modernization.

• Develop EA roadmaps, heatmaps, and application lifecycle management plans using LeanIX.

• Establish governance frameworks for data accuracy, EA maturity, and portfolio optimization.

• Integrate LeanIX with S/4HANA transformation programs, Cloud migration, or Digital Core modernization initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in LeanIX APM and/or SMP modules.

• Proven experience in EA modeling, capability mapping, and rationalization roadmaps.

• Deep understanding of IT ecosystems, ERP landscapes, and Cloud architectures.

• Strong analytical, visualization, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• 3 - 5 On-hands experience on LeanIX tool.

• LeanIX Professional or Expert certification.

• Familiarity with SAP Signavio, Solution Manager, or Integration Architecture.

• Exposure to multi-vendor transformation environments (ERP, BI, SI).

• Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, or ITIL frameworks.

• Experience with Power BI / Tableau for reporting & visualization.
