Job summary

Studio Create Landscape Architect is seeking a Junior Irrigation Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of irrigation systems for landscape projects. You will assist in preparing drawings, calculations, details, and specifications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and BIM processes.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards, offering hands-on experience in site support, QA/QC, and post-contract activities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant irrigation engineering experience.
• BSc in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape projects (on-grade and podium).
• Exposure to site supervision or post-contract activities is a plus.
• Hands-on BIM experience is essential.

Job Purpose

The Junior Irrigation Engineer will support the planning, design, and delivery of irrigation systems for landscape projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and company procedures. The role involves assisting in the preparation of irrigation drawings, calculations, details, and specifications, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to design quality, BIM integration, and site support activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Role & responsibilities

• Support irrigation design development across the projects
• Assist in preparing irrigation drawings, details, and specifications.
• Ensure Irrigation design compliance with SCLA internal protocols and standards
• Coordinate with internal teams, BIM team, and external stakeholders as required.
• Assist in QA/QC processes and provide support during post-contract and site activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• BSc in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge in irrigation systems and landscape projects (on-grade and podium). Exposure to site supervision or post-contract activities is an advantage.
• Familiarity with preparing landscape or irrigation specifications is a plus.
• Middle East experience preferred.
• Hands-on BIM experience is essential.
