Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Bengaluru is seeking an Engineer – Irrigation with 1–5 years of experience in irrigation design and project delivery, focusing on automatic irrigation systems and networks.

The role includes preparing layouts, performing flow and hydraulic calculations, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction, with hands-on use of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and WaterGEMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably civil or water engineering.
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
• Good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Support irrigation project preparation, design, technical analysis, and calculations.
• Design automatic irrigation systems including drip, bubbler, sprinkler, and mainline systems.
• Prepare secondary and tertiary irrigation system designs.
• Support project delivery from concept design through Tender and Construction stages.
• Prepare irrigation layouts, technical details, calculations, and project documentation.
• Perform flow and hydraulic calculations for irrigation systems.
• Apply knowledge of water requirements for lawns, palms, trees, shrubs, ground covers, and seasonal plants.
• Provide technical support to project teams and coordinate with other disciplines.

Job description

We are looking for anEngineer – Irrigation with 1–5 years of relevant experience in irrigation system design and project delivery. The candidate will support the preparation and delivery of irrigation projects, with a focus on automatic irrigation systems, secondary and tertiary irrigation networks, technical analysis, design, and development of project components.

Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)

• Support irrigation project preparation, design, technical analysis, and calculations.
• Design automatic irrigation systems including drip, bubbler, sprinkler, and mainline systems.
• Prepare secondary and tertiary irrigation system designs.
• Support project delivery from concept design through Tender and Construction stages.
• Prepare irrigation layouts, technical details, calculations, and project documentation.
• Perform flow and hydraulic calculations for irrigation systems.
• Apply knowledge of water requirements for lawns, palms, trees, shrubs, ground covers, and seasonal plants.

• Experience working on international or Middle East landscape/irrigation projects will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with relevant irrigation design standards, specifications, and project documentation.
