Job summary

Kaleidus Workplace Solutions in Ahmedabad is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to support the design and execution of commercial and retail interiors. This full-time, on-site role involves space planning, finishes selection, and FF&E coordination under senior designers.

You will assist with design concepts, prepare drawings, update construction documentation, and participate in site visits to ensure timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to contribute to commercial and retail design projects.
• Strong capabilities in Space Planning, creating functional layouts that align with client requirements and workplace standards.
• Proficiency in Construction Drawings, including preparation and revision of detailed plans and documentation.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), including selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
• Willingness to conduct regular site visits in Ahmedabad and adapt to project-based schedules.
