Job Summary
We're looking for a Graphic Designer with 5–6 years of experience who can own execution across the full range of marketing design – from social media creatives and performance ads to brand collateral and video edits. This is a hands‑on, high‑output role where you'll work closely with the Design Lead and the marketing team to bring campaigns, content, and communication to life visually.
Prior experience in a Fintech/BFSI environment (good to have).
This is a Work from office role.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Communication Design
- Design social media creatives, performance marketing assets, and paid campaign visuals across Meta, YouTube, and other channels – with a strong understanding of what drives engagement and conversions.
- Create marketing collateral across formats: emails, WhatsApp creatives, brochures, danglers, standees, presentations, website banners, app assets, and partner collaterals.
- Translate briefs into compelling visuals – from first concept to final polished asset – while maintaining brand guidelines and visual consistency.
- Brand Execution & Consistency
- Execute design work in line with established brand identity, typography, colour systems, and visual language.
- Support the Design Lead in maintaining and evolving brand guidelines, templates, and design systems. (Hands‑on with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other similar platforms)
- Ensure all creative output meets brand standards across digital and offline touchpoints – no detail too small.
- Video & Motion Design
- Create and edit short‑form video content – reels, explainer videos, campaign edits, and social‑first video formats.
- Handle basic to intermediate motion graphics, transitions, and text animations for digital platforms.
- Support the team with auto‑captioning, visual enhancements, and quick‑turnaround video edits.
- AI‑Assisted Design
- Use AI design tools (Midjourney, Firefly, DALL·E, Adobe AI tools, and similar) to speed up ideation, generate visual options, and enhance creative output.
- Leverage AI for faster editing, auto‑captioning, visual enhancements, and workflow efficiency.
- Stay curious – experiment with new AI tools and workflows, and bring what works back to the team.
- UI/UX Support
- Support UI/UX design needs for the app, website, and product interfaces – creating visual mockups and design assets that maintain brand coherence from campaign to in‑app experience.
- Work with product and tech teams to ensure visual consistency across marketing and product touchpoints.
- Compliance & Brand Governance
- Ensure all creative output aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.
- Adhere to RBI regulations and fintech compliance requirements in all creative assets, flagging concerns proactively.
Required Qualifications
Must‑Haves
- 5–6 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of executed work across digital and print.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (non‑negotiable). Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus.
- Social media and performance design chops – you understand platform‑specific formats, ad specs, and what performs in a feed vs. what just looks good in a deck.
- Video editing skills – comfortable with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools for short‑form content and basic motion graphics.
- Hands‑on experience with AI‑powered creative tools – you've used them in real projects, not just experimented once.
- Strong typography, layout, and colour sense – your fundamentals are solid and it shows in your work.
- Speed and consistency – you can deliver high‑quality work under tight timelines without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset – you take feedback well, iterate quickly, and work smoothly with writers, marketers, and product teams.
Good‑to‑Haves
- Prior experience in a Fintech/BFSI environment.
- Proficiency in advanced design software beyond the standard Adobe suite.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles as they relate to visual design.
- Familiarity with design tools beyond Adobe – Figma, Canva, or similar.
- Understanding of digital, social, and performance‑led design best practices.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
Portfolio Essentials
Your portfolio is central to the shortlisting process. Please ensure it demonstrates the following:
Body of Work
- A portfolio showcasing 5–6 years of professional design work across social media, performance marketing, and brand collateral.
- Examples of social media creatives, ad campaigns, and marketing materials that went live – not just concepts.
- Video or motion design samples – reels, campaign edits, or explainer videos you've created or contributed to.
- Evidence of working with AI tools in your design process – before/after examples, AI‑assisted concepts, or workflow documentation.
- Range across formats – digital ads, print collateral, email templates, WhatsApp creatives, brochures, presentations, etc.
Process Documentation
- Examples showing your journey from brief to final asset – how you interpret a brief, explore directions, and arrive at the final output.
- Demonstrated ability to work within brand guidelines while still bringing creative energy.
- Evidence of speed and volume – this role demands output; show that you can deliver at pace without compromising quality.
Travel Requirement
- Might need to travel for relevant brand events/seminars/sessions/organization events (if any)
