Think People Solutions is seeking a Financial Controller with 6–8 years of post-qualification experience to lead the month-end close, financial reporting and statutory audits in a fast-paced retail/e-commerce environment.

You will manage ERP and Excel-based processes, ensure robust internal controls, inventory reconciliation, and tax compliance across GST and TDS/TCS. D2C/retail exposure is preferred, based in Mumbai.

Formación

• CA qualified with 6–8 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience with month-end closing, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Exposure to statutory audits, internal audits and IFCs.
• Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS and corporate tax compliance.
• D2C, e-commerce or retail experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end month-end closing and finalisation of books (GL, sub-ledgers, fixed assets, accruals).
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow statements per Ind AS/Companies Act.
• Manage balance sheet schedules, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Lead statutory audits and coordinate internal audits and corrective actions.
• Design, test and maintain Internal Financial Controls and Risk Control Matrices.
• Lead inventory reconciliation across warehouses, 3PL centres, dark stores and channels.
• Reconcile ERP inventory with Shopify/Magento and marketplaces (Amazon/Flipkart).
• Manage GST, TDS/TCS, Advance Tax, Deferred Tax and related compliances.
• Monitor slow-moving inventory and provisioning; work on ERP and advanced MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end month-end closing and finalisation of books, including GL, sub-ledgers, fixed assets and accruals.
• Prepare and review Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow statements as per Ind AS / Companies Act requirements.
• Manage balance sheet schedules, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Lead statutory audits and coordinate internal audit activities and corrective action plans.
• Design, test and maintain Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and Risk Control Matrices.
• Lead inventory reconciliation across warehouses, 3PL centres, dark stores and D2C/marketplace channels.
• Reconcile ERP inventory with platforms such as Shopify/Magento and marketplaces such as Amazon/Flipkart.
• Manage GST, TDS/TCS, Advance Tax, Deferred Tax and related statutory compliances.
• Monitor slow-moving/obsolete inventory and related provisioning.
• Work extensively on ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.

Candidate Requirements:

• 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in Financial Controllership / Financial Control / Core Finance.
• CA Qualified
• Strong experience in month-end closing, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong exposure to statutory audit, internal audit and IFC.
• Hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS and corporate tax compliance.
• D2C, E-commerce or Retail experience preferred.
