Job summary

HEALTHCARE WHOLESALERS LIMITED in Sriperumbudur seeks a BE Mechanical candidate with 4–6 years in Purchase to handle planning and procurement in a medical manufacturing setup. You will coordinate with stores, quality, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating suppliers for cost, quality, and lead times; releasing forecasts; handling import procurement and logistics; and ensuring compliance with medical device norms

Qualifications

• BE Mech with 4–6 years exp in Purchase.
• Male candidates only in the age group of 25-27 years.
• Procurement of mechanical parts incl. wire harness, sheet metal, injection molding & FRP.
• Knowledge of part estimation and costing.
• Knowledge of Chennai-based EMS, sheet metal and plastic injection molding suppliers.
• Powder coating and welding, electronics knowledge; medical manufacturing exp advantageous.
• Experience in import procurement and logistics activities.
• Proactive planning and strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• To perform planning and purchase activities in a medical manufacturing industry.
• Ensure parts are received on time and there are no line stoppages.
• Reduce cost and find alternate suppliers while ensuring medical quality.
• Adhere to regulatory norms in procurement activities.
• Work closely with the Supplier Quality team.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory :

• Qualification - BE Mech with min 4-6 years of Experience in Purchase.
• Male candidates only in the age group of 25-27 years.
• Should have sound knowledge in procurement of Mechanical parts, Wire Harness / Sheet Metal fabrication , Injection moulded & FRP parts
• Knowledge of Part estimation and costing
• Should have thorough knowledge on Chennai based suppliers for EMS Line, Sheet Metal & Plastic Injection moulding parts
• Knowledge on Powder coating and welding process and electronics and experience in a Medical Manufacturing unit will be added advantage
• knowledge of handling Import Procurement and logistics activities
• Proactive Planning
• Maintain good business relationship with external suppliers
• Releasing Monthly & Quarterly Rolling Forecast to Suppliers to ensure there is no line stoppages
• Parts Follow-up and coordinate with Stores and Quality dept
• Vendor Accounts reconciliation
