Job summary

Flex is seeking a Junior Executive - Program Management based in Coimbatore to support program proposals, plan definitions, staffing, and resource allocation. You will collaborate with Program Management, Operations, and CFT to ensure timely, on-budget progress and prepare reports for management and clients.

The role involves coordinating projects, assisting in metrics, occasional travel, and driving continuous improvement while meeting shipment commitments. PTO and health insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a manufacturing or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
• Familiarity with office software and data entry tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the review of program proposals or plans to define time frame, procedures, staffing requirements, and resources.
• Confers with managers within Program Management and Operations to outline work plans and assign duties.
• Drives and coordinates projects with the Customer Focus Team to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.
• Prepares program reports and executive presentations for management or clients.
• May assist in metric development and tracking for the program.
• Occasional travel to customer locations.
• Drive the team to look for continuous improvement activities impacting timelines, cost, or production.
• Follow up on shipments to meet site and customer guarantees without delays.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Executive - Program Management based in Coimbatore location.

What a typical day will look like:

• Assist in the review of program proposals or plans to define time frame, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program.


• Confers with appropriate managers within Program Management, Operations and others to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority, and to receive technical advice and resolve problems.


• Drives and coordinates projects/activities with the Customer Focus Team (CFT) members to ensure program progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget, including facilitating the work/communication across different departments.


• Prepares program reports and executive presentations for management, client, or others.


• May assist in metric development and tracking for the program.


• Occasional travel to customer locations.


• Drive the team to look for continuous improvement activities that have an impact in the project timeline, cost or daily production activities.


• Follow up on shipments to ensure we meet site and customer guarantees without any delay and coordinate the team to any issue that could generate an impact.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or related Industry.


• Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.


• Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation package and database systems.
