Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Sriperumbudur is seeking a Junior Engineer - IT to support ERP users and drive process improvements across Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Logistics and Finance.

The role involves documentation, testing, data integrity, and user training, with opportunities to contribute to upgrades and new features. Strong SQL and analytical skills are required for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Business Systems, or related field.
• 0–2 years of ERP support or manufacturing IT experience.
• Experience with ERP / Infor LN.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Understanding of production planning, procurement, warehousing and inventory management.
• Experience in report development and data analysis.
• Knowledge of ERP integrations and interfaces.
• Basic understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, or Finance operations.
• SQL queries and database fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day ERP user support, troubleshoot issues, and monitor interfaces and integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into functional ERP solutions for Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Logistics and Finance.
• Support ERP customizations, reports, forms, testing, and upgrades.
• Assist with master data maintenance, data migration, and data correction to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare functional specs, SOPs and user guides; support SOX/compliance and change management.
• Provide user training and coordinate with business teams, developers and external vendors.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Engineer - IT located in Sriperumbudur.

What a typical day looks like:

ERP Application Support

Provide day-to-day support for ERP users. Troubleshoot and resolve applications, transaction, and master data issues. Monitor ERP interfaces and system integrations. Support incident, problem, and change management activities.

Business Process Support

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions. Support Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Planning, Logistics, and Finance processes within ERP. Assist users in process improvement and system optimization initiatives. Ensure data accuracy and process compliance.

Development & Enhancements

Support ERP customizations, reports, forms, and interfaces. Perform functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). Assist in ERP upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations. Validate system changes before production deployment.

Data Management

Support master data maintenance and validation. Generate operational and management reports. Assist with data migration and data correction activities. Ensure data integrity across integrated systems.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and maintain functional specifications, SOPs, and user guides. Support audit, SOX, and compliance requirements. Maintain proper change management documentation.

User Training & Coordination

Provide user training and knowledge transfer. Coordinate with business teams, developers, and external vendors. Participate in project meetings and implementation activities.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team
