Job summary

ReNew seeks a Jr. Engineer - Site Operations to support 24x7 operation and maintenance of wind turbine generators (WTGs) at our wind energy sites in Karnataka. You will work under the site in-charge to ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of wind turbines and related systems.

The role involves monitoring WTGs, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, managing safety, documentation, and SAP-based data entry, with a focus on reliable power production.

Qualifications

Diploma or ITI in engineering is required.
2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Jr. Engineer role with site operations responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Online monitoring & operation of WTGs and windfarm componentry.
Undertake breakdown maintenance; document and maintain service reports.
Perform monthly checks on external windfarm componentry.
Record daily generation readings; monitor meter-wise data.
Upload productivity/service data on SAP/DGR Portal; maintain service orders.
Assist with blade angle calibrations; support converter, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.

General Job Description

The Wind turbine Engineer will act as part of team to achieve safe and efficient Operation and Maintenance of WTG. To attend the breakdown calls & to ensure the smooth operation of the WPP. To share ownership of WECs along with PM team for execution of PM as per stipulated Schedules. The Wind Technician will report directly to the site In charge and indirectly to the Site In charge. Responsible for performing all 24 x 7 Operation of WTGs, preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on WTGs in safe and efficient manner. Also responsible for all site related activities such as Safety Management, Documentation, Material management etc. Specific Experience in SGRE Turbine technology.
