Job summary

ReNew Energy Global is seeking a Deputy Manager - Asset Management - Wind Engineering to join our wind portfolio in Jath, Maharashtra. You will monitor performance, analyze data, coordinate maintenance, and drive continuous process improvements for on-site wind assets.

Ideal candidates have 7–12 years’ experience with wind turbines (preferably ReGen WTG), strong technical knowledge of operation and maintenance, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in ReGen Wind Turbine with strong technical understanding for the WTG, performing operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and failure mode & effect analysis with corrective actions.
• Experience in Kenersys & WWIL WTG will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze wind turbine performance data to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with site teams for schedule/preventive/corrective maintenance/inspections of wind turbines.
• Follow-up on troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Support development of alternate products and digitization of processes to reduce operating costs of assets.
• Collaborate with new age technologies to uplift wind turbine performance.
• Prepare technical SOPs and audit wind turbines to ensure nominal condition.
• Maintain and operate technical governance for the operating wind portfolio.
• Provide reports and presentations to leadership on the operating status of windfarms.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Conduct training programs for the operations team at regular intervals.
• Travel to renewable sites as required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Preferred Profile: Must have experience in ReGen Wind Turbine with strong technical understanding for the WTG, performing operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance analysis, failure mode and effect analysis with the implemenation of corrective actions. Experience in Kenersys & WWIL WTG will be an added advantage.

• Coordinate with site teams for schedule/preventive/corrective maintenance/inspections of wind turbines.
• Follow-up on troubleshoot for mechanical and electrical issues
• At central level, support the development of alternate products, focus on digitization of processes and continuous process improvement to reduce the operating costs of assets.
• Collaborating with new age technologies to uplift the wind turbine performance.
• Preparation of technical SOP's, auditing wind turbines to ensure nominal condition of the wind turbines.
• Maintain and operate technical governance for the operating wind portfolio.
• Provide reports and presentations to the leadership on the operating status of the windfarms on technical front.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the organisation.
