Job summary

Hyosung T&D India Pvt Ltd invites a Junior Engineer- Transformer Engineer to join our Pune unit. You will contribute to mechanical design of distribution and power transformers, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, and interpreting customer specs and standards.

The role requires BE or Diploma in Mechanical with 1–5 years of hands-on experience in transformer design, and proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, and others. On-site work in Pune.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in mechanical design for transformers
• Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawings for transformers
• Knowledge of International Standards for transformers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work on distribution transformer and power transformer mechanical designs and drawings
• Prepare outline GA and manufacturing drawings
• Create and optimize 3D models in SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or equivalent
• Produce accurate 2D layouts for transformer in AutoCAD
• Understand customer specifications and applicable standards
• Prepare error-free drawings with proper checklists and documents

Job Description

• Candidate must have work experience of Distribution Transformer & Power transformers mechanical designs & drawings
• Candidate should have experience of drawings like Outline GA drawings & manufacturing drawings
• Candidate must have hands-on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX / Creo or any other 3D software. (Solid works / Solid edge will be added advantage)
• Should have hands-on experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings, layout of Power Transformer in 2D
• Should have knowledge of design and optimization of mechanical components for transformer. Components like Tank.
• Candidate shall be able to understand the customer requirements from specifications and relative standards.
• Should have knowledge of various types of International Standards related to Power Transformers, Shunt reactors & special transformers.
• Candidate shall be able prepare error free drawings with the help of checklists and relative documents.
