Hyosung T&D India Pvt Ltd in Pune seeks a Senior Engineer - Transformer Engineer Team to lead mechanical design of distribution and power transformers. The role focuses on 3D modelling, 2D drawings, and integration with customer specifications.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or equivalent CAD tools and knowledge of international transformer standards. This is a full-time on-site position in Pune City, Maharashtra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in transformer mechanical design.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drawings.
• Familiarity with international standards for transformers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for distribution and power transformers.
• Prepare outline GA drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Create 3D models using SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, UG/NX or Creo.
• Produce 2D layouts for transformer assemblies and tank components.
• Interpret customer specifications and apply applicable standards.

Job Description

• Candidate must have work experience of Distribution Transformer & Power transformers mechanical designs & drawings
• Candidate should have experience of drawings like Outline GA drawings & manufacturing drawings
• Candidate must have hands‑on experience in 3D solid modeling in Solid works / Autodesk Inventor / Solid edge / UG.NX / Creo or any other 3D software. (Solid works / Solid edge will be added advantage)
• Should have hands‑on experience of AutoCAD 2D drawings, layout of Power Transformer in 2D
• Should have knowledge of design and optimization of mechanical components for transformer. Components like Tank.
• Candidate shall be able to understand the customer requirements from specifications and relative standards.
• Should have knowledge of various types of International Standards related to Power Transformers, Shunt reactors & special transformers.
• Candidate shall be able prepare error free drawings with the help of checklists and relative documents.
