Qualifications

• Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, UNGX).

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing new tools, jigs, and fixtures per engineering specs and production needs.
• Support modification/improvement of existing tooling to boost efficiency and quality.
• Perform basic analysis of tool/fixture performance to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and manufacturing teams to understand tooling requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation of tool designs, specs, and maintenance records.
• Assist in inspection and quality control of tools and fixtures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards within the facility.
• Assist in procurement and inventory management of tooling components.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of new tools, jigs, and fixtures based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
• Support the modification and improvement of existing tools and fixtures to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct basic analysis of tool and fixture performance, identifying areas for optimization.

The Ideal Candidate

• Candidate having sound knowledge in Tool & fixtures with good knowledge of GD&T

Required Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, preferably with exposure to tooling.
• Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD,UNGX).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.
• Familiarity with various types of tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
