Job summary

Bloom Engineering is seeking a Junior Engineer for the Reman department. The role requires hands-on machining or assembly work, accurate execution, and readiness for shifts, overtime, and weekends. Training in measuring equipment and reading drawings is essential.

The candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production, with the ability to interpret blueprints and shop orders, and to work with standard and special machine tools to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in machining or assembling dismantling components.
• Must be accurate and responsible with minimal supervision.
• Training/experience using measuring equipment and reading drawings.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production or Equivalent.
• Must read shop math calculations and read and interpret blueprints/work orders.
• Ability to read safety rules and work orders.
• Willing to work in shifts, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied machining operations largely on standard work with close tolerance and finish specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and operate standard and special types of machine tools.
• Working knowledge of cutting tools and materials.
• Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
• Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.
