Job summary

Wipro Water, a Business Unit of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering headquartered in Mumbai, seeks a Project Engineer with 1–3 years’ project experience. You will support post-order to handover, plan dispatch, supervise sites, and coordinate engineering and procurement activities.

Candidate should have BE/Diploma in Mechanical and be familiar with SAP-based processes for BOM and indent, with strong multitasking and proactive capabilities to drive medium to large scale projects to successful

Qualifications

• BE / Diploma (Mechanical) preferred BE / B.Tech.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in handling Projects.
• Areas of expertise / skills: Multitasking, proactive/self-starter, EPC in water.

Responsibilities

• Provide required support in execution of medium to large scale projects from post order to handover.
• Plan, ensure timely dispatch, site supervision and handover.
• Review purchase orders and technical specs from customers.
• Prepare BOM and indent as per contract scope.
• Coordinate kick-off meetings with project managers and customers.
• Develop engineering documents with design team; obtain customer approval.
• Prepare and release indent (BOQ) for items via SAP (PR).
• Monitor progress of fabricated items and coordinate QA/QC with third parties.

Key Accountabilities: List the key areas of responsibility

This position is accountable for providing required support in execution medium to large scale Projects from post order to handover, which involves planning, timely dispatch, site supervision, and handover.

• Receipt and review of purchase order / Technical specification of Customer
• Preparation of BOM and indent according to contract scope
• Atending kick off Meeting with respective project managers and customer for finalization of execution schedule
• Engineering document development with the help of in-house design and engineering team Preparation, Submission & Approval from customer
• Preparation & Release of indent (BOQ) for B/out items & fabricated items through SAP process (PR)
• Review & progress monitoring of fabricated items
• Coordinating the arrangement for QA /QC checks with 3rd party
• Monitoring of dispatch as per invoicing plan
• Periodic visit to site for execution supervision
• Complete work as per schedule within project budget and handover
• Collection of payments as per Contract Terms
• Submission of project progress report to management
