Job summary

Unison in Pune is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan, manage and monitor inbound logistics, liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, service providers, transporters and customers to drive on-time delivery and compliance.

The role targets PO release, freight verification and timely customs handling, requiring a Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering and 1–3 years in transportation management, preferably in manufacturing, automotive or aerospace.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• 1–3 years in transportation management and international logistics.
• Ability to liaise with logistics providers and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor inbound logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics service providers and customers to drive OTD.
• Ensure timely PO release and freight bill verification and resolve issues by coordinating with forwarders/ transporter and CFT.
• Coordinate custom document amendments and develop action plans to avoid recurrence; ensure timely recovery of claims, penalties.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports and customer issues.
• Approve BOE filing checklist and follow up for customs clearance of shipment.
• Ensure timely recovery of claims, penalties from forwarders/transporters.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibility:

• Plan, manage and monitor Inbound logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics service providers, transportation companies and customers drive OTD.
• Ensure timely PO release and Freight bill verification and resolve the issues by coordinating with forwarders/ transporter and CFT.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities.
