Qualifications

• Strong laboratory skills including sample handling, aseptic techniques, and equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of IVF and related embryology procedures and workflows.
• Solid foundation in medicine or life sciences and understanding of reproductive biology, physiology, or clinical lab science.
• Experience or familiarity with assisted reproduction, including treatment cycles and embryo transfer workflows.
• Basic to intermediate Andrology skills including semen analysis and preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support daily laboratory operations in the IVF lab, including handling gametes and embryos.
• Prepare culture media and maintain sterile lab conditions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Embryologist role based in Kanpur. The Junior Embryologist will support daily laboratory operations, including handling gametes and embryos, preparing culture media, and maintaining laboratory equipment and records. Responsibilities include assisting with IVF and ICSI procedures, monitoring embryo development, and adhering to established laboratory protocols and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with senior embryologists and fertility specialists, following strict infection control and safety guidelines, and ensuring accurate documentation of all procedures. The Junior Embryologist will contribute to patient-centric care by supporting timely, safe, and effective assisted reproductive treatments.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample handling, aseptic techniques, and equipment maintenance.
• Candidates should possess knowledge and practical exposure in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and related embryology procedures.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine or life sciences, such as reproductive biology, physiology, or clinical laboratory science.
• Candidates should possess skills in Assisted Reproduction, including understanding treatment cycles and embryo transfer workflows.
• Candidates should possess basic Andrology skills, including semen analysis and preparation techniques.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in embryology, biotechnology, biochemistry, microbiology, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and commitment to quality, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with willingness to work flexible hours as required by clinical schedules.
• Prior internship or experience in an IVF or assisted reproduction laboratory is an advantage.
