Job summary

Valeo seeks an FEA engineer in India to perform simulations, validate designs and propose improvements for automotive mobility solutions. You will handle post-processing, interpret results, and ensure design validity against tests.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Ansys Workbench and LS-Dyna, plus Hypermesh; English fluency is required, French a plus. This is a full-time permanent role within Valeo's GTSC Mechanical team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of significant experience in FEA analysis using Ansys Workbench and LS-Dyna.
• Experience with meshing workflows and knowledge of plastics is a plus.
• Knowledge of vibration simulations (Modal, Harmonic, PSD, Transient) and optimization is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform FEA simulations and post-processing, interpret results.
• Validate mechanical designs and propose modifications for improvement.
• Benchmark simulation tools and support methodology development.
• Monitor time planning, track status, and document best practices.
• Handle multiple priorities and coordinate with customers.

Responsibilities

Perform the FEA simulations. Solving the simulation convergence issues. Post processing and Results interpretation. Validate mechanical design and propose solutions to improve design modifications. Validation of simulation results by comparing with test results. Supporting methodology development and benchmarking simulation tools applications. Time planning, Tracking and updating the status of the customer. Document and share best practices. Successfully handle multiple priorities.

Education/Training

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering from a reputed institute or university

Professional Experience

Candidates must have around 1-3 years of significant professional experience in FEA analysis using Ansys workbench and LsDyna. Experience on Meshing using Hypermesh Knowledge on plastic materials will be an added advantage. Knowledge on Vibration simulations (Modal, Harmonic, PSD, Transient) and Optimization will be an added advantage.

Value added skill

Knowledge on Automation/Scripting.

Languages

ENGLISH : Fluent Knowledge of the French language would be a plus.
